Grab a player's skin
Java Edition accounts only. The texture comes straight from Mojang's skin servers, so it is always the one the player is wearing right now.
Get the exact skin a player is wearing
Search a Java Edition username and the tool gets that account's current skin from Mojang's own texture server. Every download is the real file, not a re-render.
Before you save it, the skin turns in 3D next to the raw 64×64 texture. The panel also shows whether the arms are classic or slim and whether the player has a cape.
Download the PNG, copy the UUID or texture URL, or send the skin straight to minecraft.net to wear it. Credit the original artist if you reuse someone's design.
Minecraft Skin Stealer — FAQ
Does it work for Bedrock players?
No. It only finds Java Edition accounts, because Bedrock skins are not served through Mojang's Java profile API.
Why does it say the player uses a default skin?
That account hasn't uploaded a custom skin, so there is no texture file to download.
Will I get the cape too?
If the account has a cape, a Download cape button appears and saves its PNG.
