Ranks are session-based
Crucially, Arma Reforger’s Conflict ranks are session-based — they reset at the end of each match. You’re not building a permanent account level; you’re climbing the ranks within the current game. What rank gives you is access: higher ranks unlock advanced gear, heavy vehicles, helicopters and better weapons from the arsenal.
How to rank up
You earn progression by playing the objective and supporting your team, not just fragging:
- Capturing objectives — core progression.
- Killing enemies — recently boosted.
- Deploying radios — recently boosted (and vital for the team).
- Healing teammates — medic play pays off.
- Logistics support — running supplies.
Note that recent updates increased rank gains for kills and radio deployment, and reduced gains for transporting troops by helicopter — so support and objective play is the fastest route up.
What higher ranks unlock
As you climb, the arsenal opens up: better weapons and optics, then heavier vehicles, and at the top, helicopters and the strongest equipment. This gating is why a coordinated team shares roles — you need ranked-up players to field the heavy assets.
