Fika Client Settings Guide: Pings, Name Plates & Shared Quest XP

How to tune Fika's in-game client settings — pinging, name plates, quest sharing and network options — from the F12 menu.

Beyond the server config, each player tunes their own experience in Fika’s client settings. Press F12 in-game and open the Fika Core section. Here are the settings that matter most for co-op.

Co-op basics

  • Extract Key (default F8) — the key you press to extract from a raid.
  • Show Feed — custom notifications when a player dies, extracts, or kills a boss.
  • Enable Chat (default off, Chat Key Right Control) — in-game text chat; it can’t be toggled mid-raid.
  • Auto Extract — auto-extract after the countdown (as host, only works if no clients are connected).

Pinging

The ping system (default Ping Button Semicolon) lets you mark locations for teammates. You can set ping color, size, how long pings show, whether they scale with distance, and even the ping sound.

Name plates

Name plates float above teammates and are highly configurable — show HP as a percentage instead of a bar, hide plates when looking through PiP scopes, scale them with distance, and adjust opacity when aiming down sights. Handy for keeping track of your squad without cluttering the screen.

Quest sharing & shared XP

Under Quest Sharing you choose which quest types to share (Kills, Item, Location, PlaceBeacon, or All). Two optional toggles let you earn half the XP when a friendly player kills an enemy (Shared Kill Experience) or a boss (Shared Boss Experience) — great for keeping a group leveling together.

Network

The Network tab exposes the UDP Port (default 25565), Use UPnP, Use NAT Punching, and Send Rate / Smoothing Rate (which trade bandwidth for smoother interpolation). On a hosted server these are handled for you; on a self-host they’re where you’ll troubleshoot connectivity.
