Updating the Server Name on Your Enshrouded Server
Learn how to change the hostname on your Enshrouded dedicated server so players can find you in the server browser.
Your server name (also called hostname) is what players see in the server browser. Here is how to change it on your Enshrouded server.
Changing Your Server Name
Open the Startup Settings
Log in to the XGamingServer Panel and select your Enshrouded server. In the sidebar, go to Startup.
Set Your Server Name
Find the Server Name setting and enter your desired server name.
Restart Your Server
Restart your server to apply the new name.
📝 Note: This setting will override anything you have manually set inside
enshrouded_server.json.
