Updating Your Enshrouded Server to the Latest Version
Learn how to update your Enshrouded dedicated server to the latest version with automatic or manual updates, plus troubleshooting tips.
By default, XGamingServer Enshrouded servers automatically update whenever a new version releases. Automatic updates can also be disabled if you want full control over when your server updates.
Updating Your Enshrouded Server
Open the Startup Settings
Access the XGamingServer Panel and select your Enshrouded server. In the sidebar, go to Startup.
Enable Automatic Updates
Find the Automatic Updates setting and make sure it is enabled.
Restart Your Server
Restart your server. Whenever a new update is detected, your server will now automatically restart to perform the update.
Troubleshooting
If your server still has not updated, ensure Automatic Updates is enabled in Startup and then manually restart your server to force an update check. If the server still will not update, go to Files and delete the steamapps folder, then restart your server.
