Uploading a Save File to Your Enshrouded Server
Step-by-step guide on how to upload your local Enshrouded save file to your dedicated server, including locating and transferring your world data.
This guide will walk you through uploading an existing world and player save file to your Enshrouded dedicated server.

⚠️ Warning: This will delete or overwrite any progress you have made on the server.
Backing Up Your Local Save File
Navigate to Game Files
Open your Steam games library, right-click Enshrouded, and select Manage then Browse Local Files.
Find Your Save
Navigate backward to Steam/userdata/(RandomNumbers)/1203620/Remote. Copy the most recent file (typically named 3ad85aea) to a safe location.
💡 Tip: The file is usually named
3ad85aeaif you only have one world.
Uploading Your Save to the Server
Stop Your Server
Log in to the XGamingServer Panel and Stop your Enshrouded server.
Open Server Files
In the sidebar, go to Files.
Navigate to the Save Folder
Navigate to the savegame folder.
Delete Existing Saves
Delete the existing save files in this folder.
Upload Your Save
Upload your local save file. Ensure the file is named 3ad85aea on the server if it has a different name.
Start Your Server
Start your Enshrouded server to load the uploaded save.
