Each world has its own WorldDescription.json controlling difficulty and gameplay modifiers. Located at R5/Saved/SaveProfiles/Default/RocksDB/<version>/Worlds/<world_id>/.

Difficulty Tuning Tips
For New Players
- Start with Easy preset and adjust individual sliders after a few sessions
- Co-op Shared Quests makes progression much smoother in groups
- Keep Co-op Scaling low (0.5) so extra players don't spike enemy health too much
For Experienced Crews
- High Mob Health (3.0+) extends fights significantly — only go above 2.0 if your crew has good gear
- Boarding at 2.0+ requires coordinated crew with melee loadouts
- Enable Immersive Exploration for a more challenging open-world feel
