What Is Fika? Co-op Escape From Tarkov, Explained

Fika is a mod for SPT (Single-Player Tarkov) that “enables co-op multiplayer gameplay with your friends in Escape From Tarkov.” Instead of the live PvP grind, you and your friends run raids together against AI — progressing through quests, sharing items, and fighting AI-controlled PMCs, Scavs and bosses as a team.

How Fika works

Fika sits on top of SPT, the offline/single-player version of Tarkov. SPT gives you a private, wipe-free Tarkov you fully control; Fika adds the co-op layer so multiple players can share the same raids and the same progression. Because it’s all running on your own server, there’s no BSG wipe hanging over your stash and no cheaters to worry about — just you and the people you invite.

What you need to play

• A legit copy of Escape From Tarkov — SPT requires the retail game files to verify you own it.
• SPT installed, then the Fika mod (server + client plugin) on top.
• Someone to host the server so friends can join — the part most groups get stuck on.

The catch: someone has to host

Fika is co-op, which means one machine has to run the server the others connect to. On a home PC that means port forwarding (blocked entirely on CGNAT connections), keeping that PC online the whole time, and splitting its performance between hosting and playing.
