How to modify your Garry’s Mod Hostname

In Garry’s Mod servers, the hostname is a feature that designates the server’s name displayed in the server list and serves as its identifier. Typically set by the server owner or administrator, the hostname provides a unique and descriptive label for the server, reflecting its purpose or community, and in this article you will learn how to use the hostname feature effectively!

how to modify your server’s hostname:

1- Go to your server’s control panel then press “Stop” to stop your server

2- Head to “Files” tab, then go to “garrysmod > cfg > server.cfg”

3- Find “hostname” then change it to your liking, then hit “Save Content”

4- Go to “Console” tab, then hit “Start” to start your server, Enjoy!
