How to upload a Valheim game world on a dedicated Server

How to find Valheim Game Save and upload it to the server

How to find Valheim world and upload it to the server

Look the world on your local Valheim game in the below folder

C:\Users\<change username of PC>\AppData\LocalLow\IronGate\Valheim\worlds

locate the world you need to upload to the server.

If it is a newly rented server please start the server for the below folder to be created

/home/container/.config

Method 1:

Drag and Drop Valheim World when the file is less than 100MB

Look for the folder below on the game panel and simply drag and drop the files to the worlds folder

/home/container/.config/unity3d/IronGate/Valheim

Method 2:

Using sFTP to upload Valheim World when the file is more than 100MB

1.Login to your game panel.

After you place an order for your Valheim Server you’ll be sent login details to your server control panel.

2. Valheim Game Save and Worlds folder

On your Valheim Server, navigate to File Manager tab then

 /home/container/.config/unity3d/IronGate/Valheim 

3. Download and install sFTP client and launch it

Install a sFTP client such as WinSCP

Head on to your panel and settings. Launch sftp

this way you can upload all your data to the Valheim server and the password you used on your game panel

Make sure you select show hidden files as as to access our folder

/.config/unity3d/IronGate/Valheim 

4. You can now drag and drop your Valheim Maps

You can now change the world name on the panel to your new world as shown below

Congratulations you are now good to go.
