How To Reset Your StarRupture Server

Learn how to completely reset your StarRupture dedicated server to start fresh with a clean installation.

Here is how you can reset your StarRupture server to start completely fresh. This is useful if you've made a mistake that cannot be undone or want to start a brand new world.

Resetting Your Server

⚠️ Warning: This will permanently delete all your server data including world saves, configuration files, and any uploaded content. Create a backup first if you want to keep anything. This should only be used as a last resort.

Stop Your Server

Access the XGamingServer Panel and select your server. Make sure it is fully stopped.

Delete All Server Files

In the sidebar, go to Files. Delete all folders and files so that the file manager is completely empty.

Reinstall the Server

In the sidebar, go to Dashboard. Click Reinstall Server and wait for the installation to finish.

Start Your Server

Once the reinstall is complete, start your server. It will generate a fresh world on first boot.
