How To Update Your StarRupture Server
Learn how to update your StarRupture dedicated server to the latest version with automatic or manual updates.
XGamingServer StarRupture servers automatically update when a new version releases. You can also disable automatic updates for full control over when your server updates.
Enabling Automatic Updates
Open Startup Settings
Access the XGamingServer Panel and select your server. In the sidebar, go to Startup.
Enable Automatic Updates
Find the Automatic Updates toggle and make sure it's enabled.
Restart Your Server
Restart your server. Whenever a new update is detected, your server will automatically restart to install the update.
Manually Updating Your Server
If automatic updates are disabled, you can force an update at any time.
Restart Your Server
Simply restart your server from the Dashboard. The server will check for updates during startup.
Clear Steam Cache (If Update Fails)
If the update still doesn't apply, go to Files in the sidebar and delete the steamapps folder, then restart your server. This forces a fresh download.
