Joining Your Terraria Dedicated Server

Join your Terraria dedicated server using your IP address and port through the in-game multiplayer menu.

Here's how to connect to your Terraria server using your server IP address.

Connecting to Your Terraria Server

Copy Your Server IP

Log in to the XGamingServer Panel and select your Terraria server. Copy the server IP address from the sidebar.

Open Terraria Multiplayer

Open Terraria and select Multiplayer from the main menu. Click Join via IP and select your character.

Enter Your Server Details

Enter your server IP address and click Accept. Enter your server Port and click Accept.

Example: If your server IP is 123.45.67.89:7777, 7777 is a port and 123.45.67.89 is an IP address, you should enter your server information like this:

Page 1 "Enter Server IP address": 123.45.67.89
Page 2 "Enter Server Port": 7777

💡 Tip: Make sure you're running the same version of Terraria as your server. If you're connecting to a tModLoader server, you'll need to launch Terraria through tModLoader with the same mods installed. Steam Workshop Mods can be automatically installed when connecting to your server.
