Setting Up Calamity Mod on a Terraria Server
Install Calamity Mod and its required music dependency on your Terraria dedicated server for a massive content expansion.
Calamity Mod is a vast content expansion that creates an entirely new experience for Terraria with challenging bosses, unique difficulty modes, and extensive endgame content. This guide will show you how to properly install Calamity Mod on your Terraria server.
What Does Calamity Mod Add?
Calamity Mod expands Terraria with over 27 bosses, 1,800+ items including 700+ weapons, a new playable class, 5 unique biomes, new NPCs, and two additional difficulty modes. The mod also enhances vanilla gameplay with reworked reforging, improved early Hardmode progression, dozens of new crafting recipes for vanilla items, and extensive quality of life improvements.
Required Mods for Calamity
Calamity Mod requires the following mods to function properly:
- Calamity Mod (2824688072) - The main mod
- Calamity Mod Music (2824688266) - Required music addon for Calamity
⚠️ Warning: Without Calamity Mod Music, your server will fail to load Calamity with an error:
Missing mod: CalamityModMusic required by CalamityMod
Installing Calamity Mod
💡 Tip: Make sure your server is already running tModLoader before following this guide. If you haven't switched yet, check out our Changing Versions guide to switch to tModLoader.
Open Startup Settings
Access the XGamingServer Panel and select your Terraria server. In the sidebar, go to Startup and select the Mods tab.
Add the Workshop IDs
Look for Workshop Mod IDs and paste the following Workshop IDs:
2824688072,2824688266Start Your Server
Start your server. Calamity Mod will automatically download and install once your server starts.
