Uploading a Terraria World Save to Your Server
Upload your local Terraria world save file to your dedicated server with step-by-step instructions for file transfer.
This tutorial will guide you through the process of uploading an existing world save file to your Terraria server.

⚠️ Warning: This will delete or overwrite any progress you have made on the server.
Finding Your Local Terraria World Save File
Open the Worlds Folder
Press Windows Key + R and enter this:
%USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\Terraria\WorldsLocate Your World File
Find the .wld file for the world you want to upload.
💡 Tip: If your world is stored on the Steam cloud, you need to temporarily move it off the cloud first. Launch Terraria, go to the world selection menu, and click the cloud icon next to your world to download a local copy. Re-enable Steam cloud after copying the files if desired.
Uploading Your Terraria World to Your Server
Stop Your Server
Log in to the XGamingServer Panel and Stop your Terraria server.
Navigate to the Worlds Folder
In the Game Panel, navigate to Files and open the Worlds folder.
Upload Your World File
Upload your .wld file.
Set the World Name
In the Game Panel sidebar, navigate to Startup. Set the World Name field to match your uploaded world file name.
Start Your Server
Start your server.
📝 Note: The
World NameinStartupmust match the name of your uploaded world.
For example, if your file is MyWorld.wld, set World Name to MyWorld.
