Best Minecraft Village Spawn Seeds (26.2)

Starting a new world right next to a village is one of the fastest ways to get ahead in Minecraft. You get instant beds, food from farms, a bell to rally villagers, and in the best cases a blacksmith chest full of early loot, all before your first night. This guide collects ten village spawn seeds that the Minecraft community has reported for recent 1.21.x builds, the versions that lead into the 26.2 era. Each one has been chosen for what sits at or near spawn: double-village starts, blacksmith clusters, and villages generated right on top of trial chambers or ancient structures.

An important note before you dive in: every seed below is community-reported for the specific version and edition listed, not personally tested by us on 26.2. Minecraft’s world generation changes between releases, and the same seed code produces a different world on Java than it does on Bedrock. Structure positions can shift by a few hundred blocks (or disappear entirely) when you load an old seed on a newer build. Before you commit to a long-term base, generate the seed on a throwaway copy of your world first, fly out to the listed coordinates in spectator or creative mode, and confirm the village is actually there on your version. Treat the coordinates as a starting hint, not a guarantee.

How to Use a Seed

Entering a seed takes only a few seconds. On Java Edition, click Create New World, open More World Options… (or the World tab in newer versions), and paste the code into the “Seed for the World Generator” box before you hit Create. On Bedrock Edition, choose Create New > Create New World, scroll to the Advanced section, and paste the code into the “Seed” field. Leaving the field blank generates a random world instead. Seeds can be numbers (positive or negative) or words and text; text is simply converted into a number behind the scenes.

Already playing a world and want to reuse or share its seed? Type /seed in chat while in-game. Cheats need to be enabled (they are by default in singleplayer with the command available), and it prints the numeric seed you can copy. That same seed will recreate the world’s terrain if you ever start over. Once you have a seed you like, you can play your favourite seed with friends on a server so everyone spawns into the exact same village world.

Double Blacksmith Village Start (Bedrock)

Seed 3914573096492399393 (Bedrock, reported for 1.21.60) drops you between two Plains villages, each with its own blacksmith. Village 1 sits at roughly 22, 53 and Village 2 at -283, 83, so you can loot both blacksmith chests early and merge their resources. The surrounding area mixes ocean, cherry grove, forest, and snow biomes, giving you plenty of variety within a short trek. If you love cherry biomes, pair this with our best Minecraft cherry grove seeds.

Five Blacksmiths and a Pillager Outpost (Bedrock)

Seed -4841024498097456415 (Bedrock, reported to work across 1.20 – 1.21.11) spawns you at 0, 79, 0. A short walk southeast reaches a Plains village that reportedly contains five blacksmiths, with a Pillager Outpost just beyond it for an early raid or captain kill. The wider seed is loaded: two more Plains villages at 248, -280 and 72, 728, a Woodland Mansion at -624, 350, and an Ancient City at 872, 520. It is a genuine one-seed-does-everything start. Villages Built on Trial Chambers (Java)

Two Java seeds put a village directly over a trial chamber, so you can dig straight down from the houses into the combat structure. Seed 7196303038988998513 (Java 1.21.5) has a Plains village at 299, 8 generated on top of a Trial Chamber at 313, -14, 23, with a blacksmith and a dripstone cave nearby. Seed 2990297396645658645 (Java 1.21.4) offers a Taiga village near spawn at 35, -2 with a Nether ruined portal merged into one of the village houses and a Trial Chamber directly underneath. Both give you village trades and trial-chamber loot in the same spot.

Double Village and Mansion Combos (Java)

Seed 7040093665601660210 (Java 1.21.4) sits two Plains villages close together at -473, 579 and -520, 386, ideal for merging villager trades and pooling resources. Seed -5066814722330306588 (Java 1.21.4) pairs a Taiga village at 259, 356 with a Woodland Mansion at 279, 583, putting a rare mansion within easy walking distance of your starter base. For a more compact opener, seed 1539682405972721628 (Java 1.21.2) generates a Taiga village on an island at -304, 0 near spawn.

Bedrock Village + Structure Seeds

Bedrock players have three more strong picks, all reported for 1.21.50. Seed 2811560199523685026 places a Plains village at 169, 638 over a Trial Chamber. Seed -599696079251312033 has a Plains village at 190, 252 with a nearby Pillager Outpost for a built-in raid scenario. Seed 8299862725441765001 puts a Desert village at 210, 153 right next to a Jungle Temple at 291, 151, combining village trades with temple loot. Java vs Bedrock Seeds

This is the single most important thing to understand about seeds: the same seed code produces different worlds on Java and Bedrock. The two editions share the same seed algorithm but run different world-generation code, so while terrain roughly matches, the spawn point, structure placement, and coordinates for villages, temples, portals, and trial chambers usually do not line up between editions. A seed that spawns you next to a blacksmith village on Bedrock might drop you into an ocean on Java.

Always use a seed on the edition it was reported for, and treat the listed coordinates as edition-specific. Structure positions can also shift slightly between minor versions, so a seed reported for 1.21.4 may not match perfectly on a 26.x build. The progameguides seeds here were reported for 1.21.2–1.21.5 (Java) and 1.21.50–1.21.60 (Bedrock), which predate the current 26.2 numbering, so re-check the layout in-game before you build. When in doubt, use /seed and a spectator flyover to verify.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will these seeds work exactly on Minecraft 26.2?

They are community-reported for the versions listed (1.21.x Java and Bedrock), not tested by us on 26.2. Terrain should be close, but structure coordinates can shift between versions. Generate the seed on a copy of your world and fly to the coordinates to confirm before you build.

Can I use a Java seed on Bedrock or vice versa?

You can paste the code, but you will not get the same world. Java and Bedrock use different generation code, so villages and structures land in different places. Use each seed on the edition it is labelled for in the table above.

How do I find the seed of a world I’m already playing?

Type /seed in the in-game chat. It prints the numeric seed, which you can copy to recreate the world or share with friends. Cheats must be enabled for the command to be available.

What’s the fastest way to get blacksmith loot at spawn?

Try the double-blacksmith Bedrock seed 3914573096492399393 or the five-blacksmith seed -4841024498097456415. Both put multiple blacksmith chests within reach of spawn, giving you early iron, tools, and sometimes enchanted gear.
