The Queen is Valheim’s sixth boss, hidden deep in the Mistlands. Unlike earlier bosses she isn’t summoned at standard stones — reaching her is a quest in itself. Here’s how to find and beat The Queen.
How to summon The Queen
You craft a Sealbreaker from 9 Sealbreaker Fragments found in the Infested Mines beneath the Mistlands’ Black Marble structures. Use the Sealbreaker at her sealed arena to begin the fight. Clearing those mines is half the battle — see our Mistlands guide.
Prepare before the fight
- Light: a Wisplight or Dverger Circlet — her arena is dark.
- Build/gear: Carapace armor for melee/ranged, or Eitr-weave plus staves and Eitr food for a magic build.
- Food: top Mistlands food and healing mead.
The fight
The Queen is fast and aggressive. She summons Seekers to swarm you and uses a stagger-inducing shout, so the arena’s platforms and pillars are your friends — use them to break line of sight and control the adds. Burn down Seekers quickly so you’re not overwhelmed, keep an escape route, and chip her down between her rushes. Don’t get cornered.
Rewards
She drops her trophy and Mistlands materials, and her Forsaken Power boosts Eitr regeneration — the go-to power for casters heading into the Ashlands. See the boss tracker.
Tackle her as a team
Managing Seekers while damaging the Queen is far easier with a crew. A Valheim dedicated server keeps your world online 24/7 for group runs. See the boss order guide.
