What servants do
Servants are converted humans who serve your castle. They defend your base, can be sent on expeditions to bring back loot and resources, and act as themed minions. A roster of strong servants is both a defence and a passive income of materials.
How to make a servant
- Unlock the Dominating Presence ability by defeating the right V Blood boss (see our boss guide).
- Weaken a human to low health, then use Dominating Presence to enthrall them.
- Lead them to a Servant Coffin in your castle and convert them.
- After the conversion timer, they rise as your servant.
Better targets = better servants
The human you convert matters — their type and blood quality carry over, affecting the servant’s combat stats and what they’re good at. Convert high-quality, high-level humans (soldiers, specialists) for the strongest servants. Higher-tier coffins produce better results.
Putting servants to work
- Base defence — station combat servants to fight off raiders and the threats your castle attracts.
- Expeditions — send servants out on missions for resources and rare loot while you play.
- Equip them — gear your servants up so they hit harder and survive.
