WARDOGS System Requirements: Can Your PC Run It? (2026)

Official WARDOGS PC system requirements — minimum and recommended specs, what they get you, and whether your rig is ready. Plus a free Can You Run It checker.

Can your PC run WARDOGS? It’s a 100-player, fully-destructible Unreal Engine 5 shooter, so it asks for a bit more than your average multiplayer FPS — but the official requirements are more reasonable than the scale suggests. Here are the official WARDOGS system requirements for PC, what they’ll actually get you, and how to know if your rig is ready.

Don’t want to cross-reference part numbers by hand? Our free Can You Run WARDOGS? checker lets you pick your CPU, GPU and RAM and tells you instantly whether you clear minimum or recommended.

WARDOGS minimum system requirements

The minimum spec targets 1080p on Low settings at ~60 FPS (with upscaling):

  • OS: Windows 10 (64-bit)
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-8600 / AMD Ryzen 5 3500
  • GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1660 / AMD Radeon RX 590
  • RAM: 16 GB
  • Storage: 50 GB

WARDOGS recommended system requirements

The recommended spec targets 1440p on Medium at 70+ FPS:

  • OS: Windows 11 (64-bit)
  • CPU: Intel Core i7-12700K / AMD Ryzen 7 5700X
  • GPU: NVIDIA RTX 3070 / AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT
  • RAM: 16 GB
  • Storage: 50 GB

What these requirements really mean

A few things stand out:

  • 16 GB of RAM at both tiers. WARDOGS doesn’t demand 32 GB — but 16 GB is a hard floor, not a suggestion. With 100 players and a destructible map streaming in, 8 GB systems will struggle badly. If you’re on 16 GB, close background apps before you play.
  • The GPU jump is the big one. Going from a GTX 1660 to an RTX 3070 is the difference between 1080p Low and 1440p Medium. The GPU, more than the CPU, decides your experience here.
  • Only 50 GB of storage. Modest for a modern title — but put it on an SSD. Texture streaming on a 100-player UE5 map on a mechanical hard drive will cause hitching no spec sheet warns you about.
  • Windows 11 for recommended. You can run it on Windows 10, but the recommended tier assumes Win11.

Will your PC run WARDOGS?

Quick gut-check:

  • GTX 1660 / RX 590 or better + 16 GB + an SSD? You’re good for 1080p.
  • RTX 3070 / RX 6700 XT or better? You’ll enjoy 1440p at high frame rates.
  • Below a GTX 1660, or on 8 GB RAM? You’ll want to upgrade before launch — the RAM especially.

WARDOGS system requirements FAQ

Is WARDOGS on console?

No — WARDOGS is PC-only at Early Access launch, with no console versions or crossplay announced. It released on Steam on 10 September 2026.

How much storage does WARDOGS need?

50 GB. Install it on an SSD for smooth texture streaming on the large, destructible maps.

Is 16 GB of RAM enough for WARDOGS?

Yes — 16 GB is the requirement at both the minimum and recommended tiers. It’s a firm floor, though, so close background applications while you play.

Can I run WARDOGS on a GTX 1660?

Yes — the GTX 1660 (and its AMD equivalent, the RX 590) is the minimum GPU, good for 1080p on Low with upscaling. Check your full build in the Can You Run It tool.
