How To Update Your VEIN Server
Learn how to update your VEIN dedicated server to the latest version using automatic or manual updates.
XGamingServer VEIN servers are configured to update automatically by default. Whenever a new game update is released, your server will detect it and restart to install the latest version. You can also disable automatic updates if you prefer to control exactly when your server updates.
Enabling Automatic Updates
Open the Startup Page
Log in to the XGamingServer Panel and select your VEIN server. In the sidebar, go to Startup.
Enable Automatic Updates
Find the Automatic Updates toggle and make sure it is enabled.
Restart Your Server
Restart your server. Whenever a new update is detected, your server will automatically restart to perform the update.
Manually Updating Your Server
If automatic updates are disabled or your server did not pick up an update, you can force an update by simply restarting the server. The server checks for updates on every startup.
📝 Note: If your server still has not updated after a restart, go to
Filesin the sidebar and delete thesteamappsfolder, then restart your server. This forces a clean download of the game files.
