Every V-Blood in V Rising, in the right order
V Rising is a progression game — every V-Blood you hunt unlocks a specific ability, recipe, or crafting structure that gates the next tier. Miss one and you end up stuck without Blood Moon Altar access, or without the Merciless Copper armor recipe that makes Nicholaus the Fallen survivable. This tracker lists all 64 V-Bloods in the current game (post-1.0 base + Gloomrot + Invaders of Oakveil DLC) with their exact gear level, location, and what each one unlocks.
Click any V-Blood to mark it hunted — the green checkbox and strikethrough name make your progress obvious at a glance. Progress saves to your browser (localStorage) so it persists between visits. The progress bar at the top shows kills / total and percentage. Filter by region to plan your next hunt, by tier (early/mid/late/end/post-game) to match your current gear, or by boss type (beast, bandit, undead, silver, construct, vampire, etc.).
Each V-Blood card shows: gear level (so you know if you're under-leveled), specific map location (Wolf Cave east, Bandit Copper Mines, Sanctum of the Lost Archer, etc.), recommended weapon + magic combo from community consensus, abilities unlocked on kill (Wolf Form, Ward of the Damned, Corrupted Skull, Veil of Blood), crafting structures unlocked (Sawmill, Furnace, Study, Paper Press, Gem Cutting Table), and specific recipes unlocked (Merciless Copper Weapons, Merciless Iron Mail, Soul Shards).
Progression order: Alpha the Wolf (lv 16) starts the game — grants Wolf Form for faster travel. Keely the Frost Archer gives you Sawmill. Rufus the Foreman unlocks Workshop. By lv 30-46 you're in Dunley with Goreswine the Ravager (Study), Errol the Stonebreaker (Grinder), and Tristan the Vampire Hunter (Merciless Iron gear). Silverlight Hills and Hallowed Mountains dominate late-game (lv 50-64). End-game covers the Soul Shard carriers (Solarus the Immaculate, Talzur the Winged Horror, Morian the Stormwing Matriarch, Adam the Firstborn) and Cursed Forest. Post-game tops out at Dracula the Immortal King at lv 91.

How many V-Bloods are in V Rising?
64 V-Bloods across the current version (base game + Gloomrot DLC + Invaders of Oakveil). Levels range from 16 (Alpha the Wolf) to 91 (Dracula the Immortal King). They're spread across 9 regions: Farbane Woods, Dunley Farmlands, Hallowed Mountains, Silverlight Hills, Cursed Forest, Gloomrot South, Gloomrot North, Oakveil Woodlands, and Ruins of Mortium.
Which V-Blood should I hunt first?
Alpha the Wolf (lv 16) is always first — he grants Wolf Form which makes every other hunt faster. Then Keely the Frost Archer (Sawmill = wood planks), Errol the Stonebreaker (Grinder), and Rufus the Foreman (Workshop). Follow roughly in level order within Farbane before moving to Dunley at lv 30+.
What are Soul Shards?
Four lv 68-76 V-Bloods drop a unique Soul Shard each: Solarus the Immaculate (Shard of the Behemoth), Talzur the Winged Horror (Shard of Flight), Morian the Stormwing Matriarch (Shard of the Monster), Adam the Firstborn (Shard of Greed). Installing them in your castle gives permanent endgame buffs — movement speed, resource gain, combat stats.
Is Dracula beatable?
Dracula the Immortal King is lv 91 — the hardest fight in the game, introduced in Invaders of Oakveil. Requires full end-game gear, optimal weapon/magic synergy, and perfect mechanics. Most players clear on 2nd-5th attempt once geared.
Does progress save if I clear my browser?
Progress saves to localStorage only — browser reset or switching devices wipes it. For permanent cross-device tracking, copy your hunted list before clearing. We don't use accounts to keep the tool fast + privacy-friendly.
