- Apex tier — Tyrannosaurus and Deinosuchus dominate their environments (land vs water). Hardest to grow, highest payoff.
- Strong carnivores — Ceratosaurus and Carnotaurus are capable solo and group hunters.
- Bulk herbivores — Stegosaurus, Tenontosaurus and Diabloceratops survive through defensive weapons and group play.
