How To Reset Your V Rising Server
Learn how to completely reset your V Rising dedicated server.
Resetting your V Rising server performs a full wipe, removing all world data, configuration files, and player progress. This gives you a completely fresh start as if the server were brand new.
⚠️ Warning: This is a destructive action that cannot be undone. Only use this as a last resort. If you are experiencing issues, join our Discord first and we can help you troubleshoot without losing your data.
Resetting Your Server
Open the Files page
Access the XGamingServer Panel and select your server. In the sidebar, click Files.
Delete all server files
Select and delete all folders and files in the file browser. The file list should be completely empty when you are done.
Reinstall the server
Go to the Dashboard and scroll down to the Reinstall Server widget. Click Reinstall Server and wait for the installation to finish.
Your server will start fresh with default settings once the reinstall is complete.
💡 Tip: If you just want a new world without wiping everything, consider using the Create New World guide instead, which preserves your server configuration.
