How To Set A Password On Your V Rising Server
Learn how to set a password on your V Rising dedicated server.
Setting a password on your V Rising server prevents unauthorized players from joining. This is a good idea for private servers where you only want specific people to connect.
Setting Your Server Password
Stop your server
Access the XGamingServer Panel and stop your V Rising server.
Set the password
In the sidebar, click Startup and find the Server Password setting. Enter the password you want players to use when connecting.
Restart your server
Go back to the Dashboard and restart your server.
Players will now be prompted to enter the password when they try to join.
💡 Tip: Share the password only with players you trust. You can also change or remove the password at any time by editing the same setting and restarting the server.
