Joining a Vintage Story Dedicated Server
Learn how to join your Vintage Story dedicated server using the IP address through the in-game multiplayer menu.
This guide shows you how to connect to your Vintage Story server using the IP address.
💡 Tip: By default, Vintage Story is whitelist only. You either need to set up or disable the whitelist before you connect. You can quickly disable it by typing
/serverconfig whitelistmode offinto the server console.
Direct Connecting Using an IP Address
Copy Your Server IP
Access the XGamingServer panel and select your Vintage Story server. Copy your server IP address from the sidebar.
Open Vintage Story
Launch Vintage Story and click Multiplayer, then select Add New Server.
Enter Your Server Details
Fill out the server name (this can be anything), IP address, and password, then click OK.
You should now be connected to your Vintage Story server.
