Adding Mods to Your Vintage Story Server
Learn how to install and configure mods on your Vintage Story dedicated server by uploading them to the Mods folder.
This guide shows you how to install and configure mods on your Vintage Story server. You can download mods from the Vintage Story Mod Database.
Installing Mods
Stop Your Server
Log in to the XGamingServer panel and Stop your Vintage Story server.
Upload Your Mods
In the sidebar, go to Files. Navigate to the /data/Mods folder and upload your mod .zip file(s).
Restart Your Server
Restart your server to load the newly installed mods.
Configuring Mods
While these steps may vary, common mod configuration follows this process. Always follow the mod author's documentation for specific instructions.
Stop Your Server
Log in to the XGamingServer panel and Stop your Vintage Story server.
Edit the Mod Config
In the sidebar, go to Files. Navigate to the /data/ModConfig folder and edit the configuration file for your desired mod.
Save and Restart
After making your changes, save the file and restart your server.
