Conan Exiles has two iconic maps — the Exiled Lands and the Isle of Siptah — and a major 2026 update changed how they fit together. This guide covers the Conan Exiles maps.
The big change: one continuous world
With Conan Exiles Enhanced (released May 5, 2026 for the game’s eighth anniversary), Funcom merged the Exiled Lands and the Isle of Siptah into a single continuous world for the first time. Rather than picking one map, you can now traverse both — a huge expansion of the playable world.
The Exiled Lands
The original map — a vast, varied land running from the southern desert up through jungle, highlands and frozen north, with the story of escaping the Exiled Lands woven through it. It’s the classic Conan experience, packed with NPC camps, dungeons and the bracelet-removal questline.
The Isle of Siptah
A storm-wracked island built around different mechanics — the deadly Maelstrom storm that spawns enemies and rewards, vaults to raid, and a different progression. Notably, there are no religion trainers on Siptah — you learn religions by finding relics instead.
Which to start in?
With the merge, it’s less either/or — but the Exiled Lands is the better starting region for new players (the classic guided progression), while Siptah suits players who want the Maelstrom and vault-focused endgame. Explore both in the continuous world.
