Palworld Pal Effigy Guide (Lifmunk Effigy Rework, 1.0)

In Palworld 1.0, Lifmunk Effigies were reworked into “Pal Effigy.” Instead of only boosting your capture power, you now collect effigies of various different Pals to enhance your player stats. Any Lifmunk Effigies you already collected carry over. Here’s how the new system works, from the 1.0 patch notes.

What Changed: Lifmunk Effigy → Pal Effigy

• New name and purpose. “Lifmunk Effigies” are now “Pal Effigy,” and collecting them enhances the player’s stats.
• Collect different Pals’ effigies. Rather than one type, you now gather effigies of various Pals.
• Your progress carries over. Lifmunk Effigies you already obtained are kept.
• New pickup animation and effect when you grab one (skipped while mounted).

How to Find Pal Effigies

• Explore thoroughly. Effigies are scattered across the world as glowing collectibles — sweep each region as you progress.
• Check the new 1.0 areas. The Sunreach islands and the World Tree add fresh ground to search.
• Use the map. Track collectibles and landmarks with our Palworld interactive map.
