Gateway is the current and only map of the Evrima branch — it replaced the older Isla Spiro map. It’s a large, varied map with distinct biomes, and learning where its key resources are is essential to staying alive.

Reaching these spawns can be risky, but they’re worth knowing.
The danger of the map’s size
Gateway is big — and that’s exactly what kills inexperienced carnivores. Travelling the map without finding food means starvation, so don’t set off across it on an empty stomach. Learn the food and water near your spawn before going on long journeys, and use scent (hold Q) to find resources before you commit to a route.
