How To Toggle Auto Pause On Your Satisfactory Server

Learn how to enable or disable auto pause on your Satisfactory dedicated server.

By default, Satisfactory dedicated servers may pause the game when no players are connected. Disabling auto pause keeps your factory running around the clock, which is useful if you want production lines to continue working while everyone is offline.

Toggling Auto Pause

Open Satisfactory

Launch the game and click Server Manager on the main menu.

Select Your Server

Choose the server you want to configure from the server list.

Open Server Settings

Go to the Server Settings tab.

Toggle Auto Pause

Find the Auto Pause option and toggle it on or off depending on your preference.

Apply Changes

Click Apply in the bottom right-hand corner to save your settings.

💡 Tip: Disabling auto pause means your server will continue consuming resources even when empty. If you're on a plan with limited RAM, consider leaving auto pause enabled to reduce unnecessary load.
