How To Update Your Satisfactory Server
Learn how to update your Satisfactory dedicated server to the latest version.
XGamingServer Satisfactory servers have automatic updates enabled by default. When a new version is released, your server will update the next time it restarts. This guide explains how to verify the setting is enabled and how to trigger an update.
Updating Your Satisfactory Server
Stop Your Server
Log in to the XGamingServer Panel and Stop your server.
Verify Automatic Updates
In the sidebar, go to Startup and find the Automatic Update setting. Make sure it's set to 1 (enabled).
Start Your Server
Go to Console and Start your server. If an update is available, it will be downloaded and applied automatically during startup.
💡 Tip: If a major Satisfactory update has just been released and your server isn't updating, try stopping and starting the server again. The update should be applied on the next startup.
📝 Note: After a game update, make sure all players also update their local copy of Satisfactory through Steam. Version mismatches between the client and server will prevent connections.
