How To Upload Your Existing Save To Your Satisfactory Server
Learn how to upload a single-player or multiplayer save file to your Satisfactory dedicated server.
If you've been playing Satisfactory in single-player or local multiplayer and want to continue your progress on a dedicated server, you can upload your existing save file directly through the in-game Server Manager. No file management is needed.

Uploading Your Save
Open Server Manager
From the Satisfactory main menu, select Server Manager and choose the server you want to upload the save to.
Go to Manage Saves
Navigate to the Manage Saves section.
Upload Your Save File
Select the Upload Save tab and click the Upload Game button in the bottom right.
Load the Uploaded Save
After the upload completes, switch to the Load Save tab. Select the save file you just uploaded and click Load Game.
💡 Tip: After loading the save, the server will restart automatically. Give it a minute to fully boot before connecting.
📝 Note: Tier 0 (Onboarding) saves will have Tier 0 automatically unlocked when loaded on a dedicated server, as the onboarding tutorial isn't available in dedicated server mode. See Troubleshooting for more details.
