Conan Exiles Attributes & Leveling Guide (Enhanced)

Your attributes define your character in Conan Exiles — whether you hit like a truck, dodge like a cat, or carry a mountain of loot. Spending points well is the difference between a strong exile and a weak one. This guide covers Conan Exiles attributes and leveling.

The attributes (Enhanced / UE5)

• Strength — melee weapon damage.
• Agility — ranged and agile-weapon damage, mobility.
• Vitality — maximum health and healing.
• Authority — your thralls and pets (followers) — damage and survivability.
• Grit — stamina and armor.
• Expertise — carry weight and equip load.
• Encumbrance — heavy-lifting capacity.

(The Legacy / UE4 version uses a slightly different set — this is the modern Enhanced system.)

How to spend points

The golden rule: pick one primary combat stat (Strength or Agility) and push it to its capstone perk before spreading out. The big perks at the top of each tree are worth far more than scattered points. After your combat stat, invest in Vitality and Grit for survivability, then Authority if you fight alongside thralls.

Perks matter most

Each attribute grants perks at thresholds (e.g. 10 and 20). These perks — not the raw stat points — are where the real power is, so aim to complete a tree rather than half-fill several.

Reset and experiment

You’re not locked in — a Yellow Lotus Potion (craftable) resets all your attribute points, so you can respec freely as you find better gear or change playstyle. Experiment without fear.
