What Changed for Leveling in 1.0

• Level cap is now 80 (up from 65).
• The XP table was adjusted so lower-level Pals level up faster — it’s much more viable to train Pals you catch late.
• You now earn exploration experience for clearing some dungeons and enemy bases.
• Capture is faster: the Capture Bonus now completes in 5 captures instead of 12, and capture rates overall were raised.
• Accumulated XP in existing saves is auto-adjusted to the new table (your player level won’t drop).

Fastest Ways to Level Up

• Capture everything. Catching Pals gives strong XP, and the first several catches of each species now complete the Capture Bonus in just 5 — so sweep the new Sunreach and World Tree regions and grab every new Pal.
• Fight bosses. Alpha Pals, Tower Bosses and raid bosses give big XP. Tower Boss fights are now shorter (5-minute limit) so you can farm them faster.
• Clear dungeons and enemy bases for the new exploration XP on top of the loot.
• Run expeditions — Sunreach and the World Tree were added as new expedition destinations.
• Raise your XP rate. On your own server you can increase the EXP multiplier for faster leveling — tune it in our server settings generator.
