Most weapons are unlocked in the Technology Tree as you level up, then crafted at a workbench or weapon assembly line with the right materials. The early progression runs from primitive bows and crude clubs up through firearms:

Legendary schematics: the real endgame upgrade
Each top weapon has a Legendary schematic version that massively boosts its stats. These drop only from Field Alpha Bosses, and the drop rate is brutal — around 2.5%, meaning it can take roughly 40 attempts to see one. They’re worth the grind, though: the Legendary Assault Rifle, for example, boosts attack and magazine size by a factor of ten over the standard version.
Where to get the best Legendary schematics
- Legendary Assault Rifle — drops from the level 49 Alpha Blazamut, the boss guarding the north of the Ancient Civilization Ruins. This is the single best all-round weapon to chase.
- Legendary Rocket Launcher — drops from Jetragon. Crafting it is enormously expensive (hundreds of Pal Metal Ingots, Polymer, Carbon Fiber and Ancient Civilization Parts), making it the ultimate post-game flex.
- Other Legendary weapons and armor — various Alpha bosses across the map drop them; check the interactive map for boss locations.
The double-drop farming trick
Here’s how veterans grind schematics efficiently: instead of just killing the Alpha boss, capture it first, then execute the captured boss with the Butcher Knife. You get the drop chance from the capture and from the butchering — effectively doubling your odds per boss. Since these bosses respawn, you can farm them repeatedly.
