💡 Tip: Click the IP address to copy it to your clipboard. The number before the colon is the IP address, and the number after is the port — you'll need both to direct connect.

Direct Connect (PC)

Direct connect is the fastest way to join your server without searching through the browser:

Open Multiplayer

Open Arma Reforger and select Multiplayer.

Open Direct Join

Press V to open the Direct Join dialog.

Enter your server details

Enter your server's IP address and port in the separate fields:

  • IP: 198.137.23.46
  • Port: 27030

Connect to the server

Click Confirm.

Your game will connect directly to the server. If the server has a password, you'll be prompted to enter it before joining.

Using the Server Browser

If you prefer to browse for your server instead of direct connecting:

Open Multiplayer

Open Arma Reforger and select Multiplayer.

Go to the Community tab

Switch to the Community tab (your XGamingServer instance appears here, not under Official).

Search for your server

Use the search bar to find your server by name.

Join your server

Select your server and click Join.

The server browser shows useful information before you connect:

  • Player count — How many players are currently online vs. max players
  • Scenario — Which scenario the server is running
  • Ping — Your latency to the server (lower is better)
  • Lock icon — Indicates the server requires a password
  • Mod indicator — Shows if the server is running mods

Connecting on Console (Xbox / PlayStation)

If crossplay is enabled on the server, console players can join too:

Open Multiplayer

Open Arma Reforger and go to Multiplayer.

Find the server

Search for the server by name in the Community tab.

Join the server

Select the server and join.

📝 Note: Direct connect via IP is available on PC only. Console players must find the server through the server browser.

Troubleshooting Connection Issues

If you can't connect to your server:

  • Server not showing in browser — Make sure the server has fully started. Check Console on the XGamingServer panel for startup progress.
  • "Server version mismatch" — Your game client and server are on different versions. Make sure both are updated to the latest version.
  • "Connection failed" — Verify the IP address and port are correct. Try restarting your game client.
  • Stuck on loading screen — If the server is running mods, your game needs to download them first. This can take a while for large mods.
  • Password prompt — The server has a password set. Ask the server owner for the password.

Adding Your Server to Favorites
