How to Enable Crossplay on Your Arma Reforger Server

Crossplay allows players on Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation to join the same Arma Reforger server. Enabling it opens your server to a much larger player pool across all platforms, which is especially useful for growing communities or servers that struggle to fill slots.

How Crossplay Works in Arma Reforger

When crossplay is enabled, your server appears in the server browser for all platforms — PC players on Steam, Xbox players, and PlayStation players can all see and join your server. Without crossplay, your server is only visible to players on the same platform as the server (PC by default for dedicated servers).

Arma Reforger handles crossplay natively — there's no performance penalty or gameplay difference between platforms. All players share the same game world, physics, and mechanics regardless of their platform.

Things to Consider

• Input differences — Console players use controllers while PC players use keyboard and mouse. In competitive PvP scenarios like Conflict, this can create an uneven playing field. Consider mentioning crossplay in your server name so players know what to expect.
• Mod compatibility — Some mods may not be available on all platforms. If your server uses mods, console players may not be able to join even with crossplay enabled. Check each mod's platform support before installing.
• Communication — Arma Reforger supports in-game voice chat across all platforms, so cross-platform communication isn't an issue.
• Server browser visibility — Crossplay servers tend to have better visibility because they appear in more server browsers, which can help attract new players to your community.

📝 Note: To disable crossplay and restrict your server to PC-only players, simply turn off the Cross Platform toggle and restart your server.
