How to Reset Your Minecraft World
Learn how to delete your Minecraft server world and start fresh with a new seed.
Resetting your world deletes all builds, chests, and progress and generates a brand new world from scratch. This is useful when starting a new season, testing a new seed, or recovering from corruption.
⚠️ Warning: This action is permanent. Download a backup of your world before deleting if you want to keep anything!
Resetting Your World
Stop your server
Log in to the XGamingServer panel and stop your Minecraft server.
Open the Files manager
Go to Files.
Delete the world folder
Delete the world folder.
Start your server
Start your server — a new world will generate automatically with a random seed.

📝 Note: Some Minecraft editions separate world data into multiple folders. If you see any of these, delete all of them for a complete reset:
world— The main Overworldworld_nether— The Nether dimensionworld_the_end— The End dimension
💡 Tip: Want to start fresh with a specific world? Set a custom world seed before starting the server, or upload an existing save instead.
