Legendary Pals are the rarest, strongest creatures in Palworld — the ones that carry you through the endgame and look incredible doing it. Each one is a fixed-spawn boss you have to track down and out-catch. This guide covers every Legendary Pal, where to find it, and how to actually catch it.

How to catch a Legendary Pal
Legendaries are tough, so come prepared:
- Bring the best spheres you can craft — Legendary, Ultra or Giga Spheres dramatically raise capture odds.
- Lower their HP into the red before throwing, and apply status effects to boost catch rate.
- Exploit their element — bring a Pal that counters them (more below).
- Use terrain. Many players build a small platform or trap the boss on rocks to attack safely.
- Stock up — you’ll likely need many spheres per attempt.
Jetragon — the Celestial Dragon

Element: Dragon. Where: the volcanic region in the west, north of the Beach of Everlasting Summer fast-travel point, around coordinates (-789, -321). Jetragon is the best flying mount in the game and a premier damage dealer. Counter it with Ice (a Frostallion works wonders), and bring fire-resistance gear for the volcanic heat.
Frostallion & Frostallion Noct — the Steed of Ice

Element: Ice (Frostallion) / Dark (Frostallion Noct). Where: the snowy region in the northwest, east of the Land of Absolute Zero point, around (-357, 508). Bring cold-resistant armour and a Dragon-element Pal to counter its Ice attacks. Frostallion Noct is a rarer Dark-element variant — check the interactive map for its current spawn.
Necromus & Paladius — the Dark and Light Knights

Element: Dark (Necromus) / Neutral (Paladius). Where: they spawn together in the far north of the Desiccated Desert, around (447, 679). Necromus is the fastest ground mount in the game and Paladius isn’t far behind, so catching this pair sorts out your land travel and melee power in one trip. Bring desert heat protection.
Blazamut — the Fire Titan

Element: Fire. Where: inside the Scorching Mineshaft dungeon in the western volcanic region — the entrance is southwest of the Foot of the Volcano point, around (-436, -529). Blazamut is a monster bruiser and the best Level 4 miner in the game. Counter it with Water Pals and wear fire-resistant gear.
Anubis — the desert guardian

Element: Ground. Anubis is a desert Field Boss and one of the best all-round Pals in the game (Level 4 Handiwork, Level 3 Mining, strong combat). Here’s the secret, though: catching the Anubis boss is hard, but breeding one is easy — Vanwyrm + Cinnamoth does it. See our breeding guide for the full method.
Which legendary should you get first?
If you want to fast-track the endgame: grab Necromus and Paladius together for unbeatable ground mobility, then Jetragon for flight and air damage, and Frostallion as your Ice answer to Dragon enemies. Blazamut rounds things out as a combat-and-mining powerhouse. Check our best Pals tier list for how they stack up overall.
