How to Set Max Players on Your 7 Days to Die Server
Learn how to change the maximum number of players on your 7 Days to Die dedicated server.
This guide shows you how to adjust the maximum number of players that can be connected to your 7 Days to Die server at the same time.
Setting Max Players for 7 Days to Die
Open the panel
Log in to the XGamingServer Panel and select your server.
Navigate to Startup
In the sidebar, click Startup.
Change Max Players
Under Basic, find the Max Players setting and enter your desired value.
Restart your server
Go back to Dashboard and restart your server for the change to take effect.
📝 Note: The Max Players value set in the panel overrides anything configured in your
serverconfig.xmlfile.
⚠️ Warning: If you have crossplay enabled, the maximum player count must be set to 8 or fewer for console players to connect.
