Locating Your Existing World and Save Data

Open the save folder

Press Windows Key + R to open the Run dialog, then enter:

%appdata%\7DaysToDie

Locate your files

You will need two things:

  • World file -- Found in the GeneratedWorlds folder (e.g., GeneratedWorlds/YourWorldName/)
  • Save data -- Found in the Saves folder (e.g., Saves/YourWorldName/YourSaveName/)

Your folder structure should look like this:

AppData/Roaming/7DaysToDie/
  GeneratedWorlds/
    WorldName/
  Saves/
    WorldName/
      SaveName/

📝 Note: If you are coming from a pregenerated (pregen) world, you only need to upload your save data from the Saves folder. The pregen world files are already included with the server.
