How to Enable Crossplay on Your 7D2D Server

Learn how to enable crossplay on your 7 Days to Die dedicated server so Xbox Series and PS5 players can join.

Crossplay allows Xbox Series S/X and PlayStation 5 players to connect to your 7 Days to Die server alongside PC players. This guide covers how to enable crossplay and which server settings must be compatible with console platforms.

Enabling Crossplay

Open the panel

Navigate to Startup

In the sidebar, click Startup.

Configure the required settings

Set the following values exactly:

Setting	Required Value
ServerMaxPlayerCount	8 (maximum)
ServerAllowCrossplay	True
EACEnabled	True
IgnoreEOSSanctions	False

Restart your server

Go back to Dashboard and restart your server for the changes to take effect.

⚠️ Warning: All four settings must be configured exactly as shown. If any setting is wrong, console players will be unable to connect. Steam players can join regardless.

Crossplay Requirements

For console players to connect successfully, you must:

Configure all four settings exactly as shown above
Use only console-compatible values for all server settings (see the table below)
Remove any mods from your server
Limit the server to 8 players maximum

Valid Settings for Crossplay

When crossplay is enabled, certain server settings must stay within ranges that the console version supports. Steam players can connect regardless, but console players will be unable to join if any setting uses a non-standard value.
