How to Connect Console & Crossplay Players to Your 7 Days to Die Server

This guide explains how console players on Xbox Series S/X and PlayStation 5 can connect to your 7 Days to Die server using the in-game server browser.

📝 Note: Console players can only connect if your server has crossplay properly configured. See our Enable Crossplay guide to set up your server correctly.
How to Connect on Console
Set a server name and region
Log in to the XGamingServer Panel and select your 7 Days to Die server. In the sidebar, click Startup. Under Basic, set a memorable Server Name and select your Server Region.
💡 Tip: Make your server name unique and easy to remember so console players can find it quickly in the browser.
Restart your server
Go back to the sidebar and click Console, then restart your server so the new name and region take effect.
Open 7 Days to Die on your console
Launch the game on your Xbox Series S/X or PlayStation 5.
Search for your server
Select Join A Game, enter your Server Name and the Server Region you selected, then click Start Search.
