How to Reset Your 7D2D Server
Learn how to completely reset your 7 Days to Die dedicated server to start fresh.
If your 7 Days to Die server has persistent issues or you simply want a fresh start, a full reset will wipe everything and reinstall the server from scratch. This should be used as a last resort after trying other troubleshooting steps.
⚠️ Warning: This process deletes all server data, including your world, player progress, and configuration. Create a backup using the Backups page before proceeding if you want to preserve anything.
Resetting Your 7 Days to Die Server
Stop your server
Log in to the XGamingServer Panel, select your 7 Days to Die server, and click Stop.
Delete all files
In the sidebar, click Files. Select all files and folders and delete them. The file browser should be completely empty when you are done.
Reinstall the server
Go to Dashboard and click Reinstall Server. Wait for the installation to complete.
Start your server
Once the reinstallation finishes, click Start. Your server will launch with a fresh world and default settings.
