Every Valheim Food, Ranked

Valheim has 75+ consumable foods across 8 biome tiers, from the humble Raspberry (7 HP / 20 Stamina) to the endgame Ashlands Feast (75 HP / 75 Stamina / 38 Eitr). Your food loadout determines your HP pool, stamina regen, and mage Eitr — so picking the right three foods for your current biome is the single biggest DPS/survivability lever in the game. This database has them all.

Each food card shows: Health (max HP bonus), Stamina (max stamina bonus), Eitr (mage power bonus — Mistlands+), Regen rate, and Duration in seconds. Sort by any stat to find the top food in that category, or use the preset filters — Tank (HP ≥ 40), Stamina (≥ 30), Eitr / Mage (≥ 30), or Balanced (HP ≈ Stamina).

Top picks by archetype: Tanks run Piquant Pie (105 HP) + Mashed Meat (100 HP) + Roasted Crust Pie (105 HP) for 310 HP pool. Mage builds stack Marinated Greens (95 Eitr) + Sparkling Shroomshake (90 Eitr) + Seeker Aspic (85 Eitr) for 270 Eitr pool. Balanced players use Ashlands Feast (75/75/38) + Mistlands Feast (65/65/33) for versatility.

Food data compiled from community resources referencing game constants (HP/stamina values are factual and not copyrightable). Duration shown in seconds — most foods last 20-30 minutes. Eitr foods only appear in Mistlands+ biomes. If you host your own Valheim server on XGamingServer, food stats are configurable via BepInEx mods — base values shown here are vanilla.

Valheim Food Stats Database — FAQ

What's the best food in Valheim?

For pure HP: Piquant Pie (105 HP), Roasted Crust Pie (105 HP), Mashed Meat (100 HP) — all T7 Ashlands. For pure Stamina: Ashlands Feast + Mistlands Feast (75/65 stamina). For Eitr (mage): Marinated Greens (95 Eitr) leads. Best balanced: Ashlands Feast (75/75/38).

How does food work in Valheim?

You can eat 3 foods at a time. Each adds to your max HP pool, max stamina, and (late game) max Eitr. They also provide health regen over time. Foods last 20-30 minutes and you can eat a new one to refresh the timer when it dips below half.

When can I use Eitr foods in Valheim?

Eitr is unlocked in the Mistlands biome (6th boss) — you need Eitr to cast mage skills and use the Staff of Embers. Eitr-focused foods only become available from Mistlands onward (Marinated Greens, Seeker Aspic, Sparkling Shroomshake, etc).

How long does Valheim food last?

Most foods last between 600 seconds (10 min) and 3000 seconds (50 min — Feast-tier). The in-game timer starts ticking when you eat and stacks across food slots. Feasts last longest at 50 minutes.

Can I customize food stats on my Valheim server?

Yes with BepInEx mods. XGamingServer's Valheim hosting supports BepInEx loadouts — mods like ValheimPlus let you multiply food HP/stamina values server-wide. Base stats shown here are vanilla baseline.
