How To Change Your Palworld Server Name
Learn how to change your Palworld server name (hostname) that appears in the server browser. Make your server easy to find for friends and new players.
Your server name, also called the hostname, is what players see when browsing the server list. Choosing a clear, recognizable name helps players find your server quickly, especially on crossplay-enabled servers where Xbox and PS5 players rely on the browser to connect.
How To Change Your Palworld Server Name
Open the XGamingServer panel
Access the XGamingServer panel and stop your Palworld server.
Go to Startup
In the sidebar, go to Startup.
Change the server name
Under the Basic section, find the Server Name field and enter your desired server name. You can use letters, numbers, and most special characters.
💡 Tip: Keep your server name short and descriptive. Something like "Chill PvE | 3x Rates" tells players exactly what to expect before they join.
Restart your server
Start your server from the Console page to apply the changes. The new name will appear in the server browser once the server is fully online.
