How To Set A Password On Your Palworld Server
Learn how to password protect your Palworld dedicated server. Keep your server private by setting a join password to control player access.
Setting a password on your Palworld server ensures that only players who know the password can join. This is useful for private sessions with friends or for keeping your community server invite-only.

How To Set A Server Password
Open the XGamingServer panel
Access the XGamingServer panel and stop your Palworld server.
Go to Startup
In the sidebar, go to Startup.
Set the server password
Under the Basic section, find the Server Password field and type the password you want players to enter when joining.
💡 Tip: Share your server password only with trusted players. Avoid simple passwords like "1234" if you want to keep your server secure.
📝 Note: To remove password protection and make your server public again, simply clear the
Server Passwordfield and leave it blank.
Restart your server
Start your server from the Console page to apply the changes. Players will now be prompted to enter the password when they try to join.
