How To Increase Max Workers On Your Palworld Server
Learn how to change max workers on your Palworld dedicated server. Follow this guide to control the maximum number of Pals that can work at each basecamp.
The BaseCampWorkerMaxNum setting controls the maximum number of Pals that can be assigned to work at each individual base camp on your Palworld server. The default value is 15. More workers means faster production, but also increases server load.
Changing Max Base Workers
Open the XGamingServer panel
Access the XGamingServer panel and stop your Palworld server.
Go to Startup
In the sidebar, go to Startup.
Edit the BaseCampWorkerMaxNum setting
Under the Bases & Guilds section, find BaseCampWorkerMaxNum and change the value. The default is 15.
Recommended values:
| Value | Effect |
|---|---|
5 - 10 | Lighter load, forces specialization |
15 | Default |
20 - 30 | More workers for busier bases |
50 | Vanilla maximum |
Restart your server
Start your server from the Console page to apply the changes.
⚠️ Warning: The vanilla maximum is
50Pals per base. Values above50require mods. Higher worker counts significantly increase server load, especially when combined with multiple guild bases. If you experience lag, try lowering this value.
💡 Tip: A value of
20is a popular choice that gives players room to build productive bases without putting too much strain on the server.
