How To Enable Randomized Pals On Your Palworld Server

Learn how to change randomizer settings on your Palworld dedicated server. Follow this guide to control Pal randomization.

This guide shows you how to change randomizer settings on your Palworld server. The randomizer shuffles which Pals spawn in different areas, creating a fresh and unpredictable experience every time you explore the map.

⚠️ Warning: The randomizer seed is set at world generation. If you change the randomizer settings on an existing world, you will need to reset your world or reset your server for the changes to take effect.

Randomizer Modes

  • None -- Default behavior. Pals spawn in their normal locations.
  • Region -- Pals are randomized within their biome region, keeping spawns thematically appropriate.

📝 Note: The "All" setting (fully random across all regions) is currently incompatible with Palworld dedicated servers and should not be used.

Changing Randomizer Settings

Stop Your Server

Log in to the XGamingServer Panel and click Stop to shut down your server.

Open Startup Settings

In the sidebar, go to Startup.

Set Randomizer Type

Under Basic, find RandomizerType and choose your preferred mode (None or Region).

Enable Level Randomization (Optional)

Under Basic, find bIsRandomizerPalLevelRandom and set it to True if you also want Pal levels to be randomized. This makes encounters less predictable since a low-level area could spawn high-level Pals.

Set a Randomizer Seed (Optional)

You can set a specific randomizer seed for consistent randomization across world resets. If you leave it blank, a random seed will be generated automatically.

Start Your Server

Click Start to launch the server. If this is a new world, the randomizer will take effect immediately. If this is an existing world, you will need to reset it first.

💡 Tip: Share your randomizer seed with friends so they can experience the same Pal layout on their own servers.
