How To Increase The Work Speed Rate On Your Palworld Server
Learn how to change the work speed rate on your Palworld dedicated server to speed up player crafting, building, Pal tree cutting, mining and more.
The WorkSpeedRate setting controls how fast both players and Pals complete work tasks on your Palworld server. This includes crafting, building, mining, logging, and all other base-related activities. The default value is 1.0.
Changing Work Speed Rate
Open the XGamingServer panel
Access the XGamingServer panel and stop your Palworld server.
Go to Startup
In the sidebar, go to Startup.
Edit the WorkSpeedRate setting
Under the Gameplay section, find WorkSpeedRate and change the value. The default is 1.0 (normal speed).
Recommended values:

1.0 | Default work speed |
2.0 | Double speed (popular choice) |
5.0 | Five times faster |
10.0 | Very fast, great for building-focused servers |
Restart your server
Start your server from the Console page to apply the changes.
💡 Tip: A value of
2.0is a popular choice that speeds things up without making crafting feel trivial. For dedicated building or creative sessions,10.0or higher lets you focus on designs rather than waiting.
📝 Note: This setting affects both player and Pal work speed equally. There is no separate setting for player vs. Pal work speed.
